TEST2008 brings to India international experts from software testing industry

New Delhi, October 13: Pure Conference announces TEST2008 (Test Excellence through Speed and Technology), a conference for the Indian software testing industry, in Delhi at Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Rajghat from Monday, 13th October to Thursday, 16th October. The conference focuses on “Agility in Testing”. The theme will explore and expand on the need for testing teams to remain relevant and resourceful and to adapt to the changing demands of product and quality. The prime objective of the conference is to provide a platform for the Indian Testers to interact with the global names in software testing industry and enhance their own contribution in the global markets.

The five day event will feature tutorials and presentations from invited speakers and from members of the software testing community. The event will witness eminent speakers from over 12 nations across the world and participants from over 30 countries. The entire conference has been structured to allow extensive tutorials on critical issues by several leading names in the IT domain. The tutorials in Delhi have been spread over a period of three days, and the two days of the event will have an exhibition and discussions. Similar tutorials have been organized in the Silicon city-Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune to address the vast IT population base of these cities.

The keynote address at the conference will be delivered by Geoff Thompson, Director, Experimentus Ltd, UK. Other speakers at TEST2008 include Prakash Kulkarni, TCS, Kluas Olsen, Softwaretest.dk, Denmark, Melissa Barbosa Pontes, Recife Centre for Advanced Studies and Systems, Brazil, Vinod Malhotra, Microsoft India, and Volkan Sevincok, Bimar Bilgi Islem Hizmetieri A.S. Izmir, turkey.

Pure Conferences has also invited papers from practitioners from several industry verticals to share their experiential learning, challenges and innovations. The conference will also felicitate and provide "Testing Thought-Leader award to eight well known testers of India for the service provided to Indian Testing Community. The award categories include:
